Ahhhh time to sit back and chillax.....

So Christmas is finally over for another year. Personally my Christmas went surprisingly well, got spoilt and had Christmas at my new house for the first time as well as having Christmas away in Narrogin. Two Christmas's every year kills me but it is all worth it as well as celebrating my brothers birthday. We had a great BBQ at both venues and delicious desserts (I dont think I am going to fit into my work uniform :S). The only thing I would change if I could would be the weather, just a little to HOT for my liking, but as my sis likes to say "Suck it up princess" lol.

But now I am looking forward to a few days off work and not having to do anything to do...... except listen to my new Bon Jovi CD and sitting under my aircon! and then........NEW YEARS EVE!!!! Time for drinking with my gurls and relaxing bringing in the new year.

Just a quick movie review

So on the weekend I went and watched 'Love and Other drugs' and well hellooooooo Jake Gyllenhaal. I havent really noticed him much in the past and well now I want to watch every movie he has ever been in!!

Well anyway back to the movie, for those of you who havent heard of it, its about a pharaceutical rep who has the confidence and is a lady charmer. But then he meets his match, Maggie, who is sick but doesnt let anything get in her way. She is a confident, free spirit kind of girl. It started off as just a casual thing but each fall in love with each other but not wanting to. There are a quite a few 'adult scenes' so anyone who does like that kind of thing, well that movie isnt for you.

It has such a great story line with comedy, romance and drama. I would rate it 4.5 out of 5.

Wiki Wiki

So it was a suggestion that we should write a post about some of the selected wiki sites listed.....too tell you the truth, I wasnt really interested. But the main wiki site I use (along with many others) is Wikipedia. Its great, you can find anything you like, just along as it is somewhat reliable!!

But I was searching the net, and I found a Glee wiki page!! I love Glee (and Finn) its such a great show. It has new Glee pictures that I havent seen before and songs. I loved that episode that had the song 'Marry me' so addictive......was dancing around my loungeroom *shifty eyes*

How could I forget one of my favourite TV Shows of all time 'Two and a Half Men' and clicked on the Charlie Harper link.....Oh yeah!! I know some people are like ewwww (and in real life it would be good if he was a better role model), but I think he sexy in his TV show. It even has a list of women Charlie has had within the show, I counted 9 so I am thinking that they were the ones that he had a serious relationship with because I know there are sooooo many more :P

Another wiki site I came across was 'Solar Cooking'. It got me intrigued so I decided to check it out. It is apparently easy to make to make, but I am assuming that this would take a while to cook things. It doesnt use any fuel or fire so it is good on the environment. Check it out and see what you think!

So I am learning all about RSS. I was totally clueless as to what it was, until I started playing around with it and now I see the funny orange symbol around everywhere. Even on my internet tool bar and hadnt even noticed it until now!!

Well personally I only use the internet to go onto Facebook, and maybe a few other websites like Target or Big W to see what there latest specials are. Or radio websites to remember a song that I really like. Unless people at work are talking about someone famous, and I have no idea who they are (which happens all the time), I do a search for them. But the convo is normally over by the time I finish finding out something about them.

LOL how great it this.....so creative and simple yet so hilarious! I was just looking through Flickr for weird and wacky pictures and decided to share this one with everyone. There are so many great pictures on this website. Flickr is a great website for sharing photos. I dont have much experience with this site but i guess that is what this course is all about! I think that the way you can create calendars and cards is fantastic, what a great idea. You should definitely check them out. This guy is such a great artist. His name is Ben Heine and he is a visual creator.

So I have my own blog.....

So I am doing a Web 2.0 training for work. I was really excited about doing it, but now I have had a total mental block and have no idea what to write about. Its just like when I had a job interview last week.....worst time to have a mental block.

I have done some blog writing before, but for an organisation, not myself. I love to read the weird and wacky things that other people put on their blogs. Some are quite fun and different. Like there was this one about turtles that a lady in America had found in her property and then eventually found baby turtles, soooo cute!!  Check out the blog.......
